Planning Ahead & a Winner
Nothing finished to show you today...everything is in process right now. I'm planning to get some work done this weekend, though, so there will be lots to share next week. Last night we popped into the local quilt shop for a few minutes, and I was able to snag a copy of the new 100 Blocks magazine. There are some fantastic ideas in here. I've been planning to make a quilt for our queen-sized bed ever since I started sewing -- a big deal for me since it will be the largest quilt I've made yet on my little home machine. First it took forever to settle on the fabric, but I've been adding to this stack of Denyse Scmidt little by little over the past months, and I love the way it's looking. Now I can't figure out what pattern to use. I'm constantly bringing pictures to my husband saying, "What do you think about this one?" And he just smiles and says, "Looks great, sweetheart. Whatever you do will be great." Sometimes I think I married the most patient man on the planet...
But what about that giveaway winner? Random.org says that the winner is number 66 -- Bets, who said...

ReplyDeleteI am planning on making a quilt for my King sized bed. What a task it will be. I think first I will take the 12 in 2012 challenge I have for myself then I'll think about that. The fabrics you picked are great. Can't wait to see what pattern you choose.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I so love your stack of fabric goodness. They will make a wonderful quilt, and since your husband will like anything you make, that makes it even easier, right? or maybe harder?
ReplyDeleteA nice surprise to win! I will enjoy...thanks a bunch...my first win!
