The Fabric Love

It was great to hear about everyone's favorite new fabric lines this week as I read your Sew, Mama, Sew! Giveaway comments. Among the top answers were Simply Color, Notting Hill, Salt Water, and Architextures, though there were plenty more to choose from. In fact I was so carried away by the fabric love that I found myself clicking the order button at Westwood Acres while I was up late the other night. When I saw this fat eighth bundle in Amanda's shop, I just could not resist. Any guilt I may have felt about indulging disappeared completely when I saw this stack arrive on my doorstep this afternoon.

Is this gorgeous or what? I think Architextures is one of the most original lines I've seen all year. The texture and color in these prints are absolutely sublime. I can't wait to make something with this fabric...

But you're waiting to see a winner here, I know. Out of 478 entries, the winner is Kristen who has a lovely blog at Milo and Molly. Do stop by and visit her if you haven't already -- there is some beautiful inspiration to be found in those pages!

My thanks to all of you who stopped by to gush over fabric lines and also to those of you who were kind enough to become followers. I love having the chance to chat and share with you every week. You absolutely make my day.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. Oh man, I'm totally loving Architextures too. Been crushing on all the text prints I've been seeing, and these are quirky and fit the bill. I also love her house pattern

  2. Wow! Fabulous to see it spread out like that! Love Architextures even more! Now, I'll go check out Westwood Acres and Milo and Molly, if you don't mind :D

  3. Oh man, I am buying those for sure now, so beautiful!

  4. That is a great line, it was fun reading the comments on your give away - I looked a number of the favorite new lines of fabric myself. It was a great question!

Aren't you the sweetest for leaving a comment! Due to all the ads that bombard this section, I have to moderate everything first, but look for your comment to post in a day or two. Thanks so much for writing!
