This Week

This week I'm...

...drooling over this stack of incoming fabric mail and, yes, plotting to order more. Shelburne Falls...you need it. Trust me.

...finally making the churn dash quilt I've been wanting for months. I'm so excited about this one.

...starting work on my Intrepid Thread Scrap Challenge bundle. I can't wait to start paper piecing these beauties.

...trying to decide what this is going to be. I had originally planned to make it into a pillow, but I've made so many lately that I'm itching to try something else. Any ideas?

...booked to the rafters. With Ash Wednesday, Valentine's Day, Bunny's 6th birthday, and a much anticipated visit from my parents-in-law all happening in the next seven days, we have a rather full schedule going on this week.

At least life isn't boring.

Linking up to WIP Wednesday.

  1. I would make a framed coin purse with those hexies! Or maybe a notebook cover. Or maybe I would cover a lamp shade with those. They are just too gorgeous! Oh and that Christmas print is one of my all time faves!

  4. I'm going large with my hexies and aiming for a quilt. But there's no short term satisfaction in that. Lori's suggestion of a little purse would be awesome I reckon.

  9. Mmmm. Fabric. And Hexies. You're totally an unintentional enabler, because now I want to buy fabric (like an above comment) and make hexies :)

  10. I recently saw one hexy project that was a table scarf. I'm making a wall hanging. It sort of depends on how you arrange the hexies. You can also just use it like fabric and make things out of it like tote bags. They are too much fun.
