Vintage Holiday Quilt Along Party!
I can hardly believe that we've arrived at the end of the Vintage Holiday Quilt Along! I want to thank Camille for allowing us to use her beautiful pattern, and the Fat Quarter Shop for providing us with some wonderful prizes along the way. Most of all, I want to thank all of you for your excitement and encouragement as we've worked on these quilts together. This has been such a great experience, and I've loved sewing along with you!
Our party begins today and ends at midnight PST on Thursday night. If you've made a finished product using the blocks from the pattern -- quilt, table runners, tree skirt, etc. -- add it to the link-up below! I'll post our two winners on Friday. The gorgeous fat quarter bundles you see above are being donated by the fine folks at the Fat Quarter Shop. I do love that Vintage Modern collection!
And if you're itching to join another sew along now that we've finished this one, come back to visit tomorrow. I'll have all the details and two giveaways waiting for you...
I was going to make the quilt with you but a few blocks in I decided that I really didn't need another Christmas Quilt, especially being Christmas is summer here in Australia so I changed my mind and turned some blocks into Christmas Table Runners. If I dont meet the quidelines for the link up please delete it for me. Thanks for the inspiration and encouragement to ake these. hugs
ReplyDeleteJust the binding to stitch down on mine, will try and get it linked up in time.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for having such a fun QAL! I made a tree skirt and didn't actually make all the blocks - my house is only little and any bigger wouldn't have worked!! If I don't meet the requirements feel free to delete the link. Can't wait to see other finishes :)
ReplyDeleteI put my quilt on the limk but noticed a little red x by my quilt picture. Could you check to see if I posted it right. I am new to blogging and am not sure about doing some things. Thanks Marla
ReplyDeleteWhew - finished this one just in time!!!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't able to finish in time :-(! I'm just now quilting my layers. BUT I did have fun and I got to visit with all my kids this past weekend! (instead of finishing my quilt).
ReplyDeleteThanks for the QAL!
Thank you Heidi for a fabulous QAL - I am so happy I was able to take part otherwise I would have never made myself a festive quilt (nor would it have been completed for THIS holiday either!). Great motivation and look at all those lovely quilts!!
